COURSE 3
Midsummer "Refresher" weekend
A follow-on to our beginners' course on fly fishing or a refresher
for the more experienced fly fisherman who wants to develop his
or her technique. Two mornings polishing up casting on our lake
and the rest of the time fishing under supervision on our rivers.
On this course we emphasise the finer points of fishing, delicate
and accurate presentation, and rivercraft. Casting techniques
include: overhead, horizontal, backhand, roll, false casting,
roll cast into overhead cast, single haul and shooting line.

Fishing all day on the river with instructors.
(Lunch on the river bank).
Morning – upstream wet fly
Afternoon - nymphing.
Evening – fishing the evening rise till dusk.

Tackle
If you have your own tackle please bring it, but if it is not
suitable or you do not have your own, we can provide all the tackle
you will need, including thigh waders.

Saturday 7th – Sunday 8th June (arrive Friday)
Saturday 12th – Sunday 13th July (arrive Friday)

Deposit
When booking would you please enclose a deposit of £100.00 per course participant. This deposit will be returned if you give us more than 31 days notice of cancellation.
