1930's 'Cane & Tweed' Revival Weekend

The Arundell Arms Fishing School was established in 1935 and so what better era on which to reminisce. This summer we are holding a 1930's revival weekend, celebrating all things Cane and Tweed!  Vintage fishing tackle will be available for a truly authentic 30's fly fishing experience as well as a 'rip-roaring' evening on Saturday where we're hoping to see some fabulous 1930's outfits. 

REVIVAL  WEEKEND PROGRAMME

Friday 31st August
Arrive during the afternoon and enjoy a Devonshire cream Tea
7.30pm – Welcome meet for drinks and canapes served in the lounge
Leisurely dinner in the main restaurant or bar (optional)
 
Saturday 1st September
9.00am – Breakfast
10.30am – Meet rod builders and have a go with the vintage tackle on the lake (optional) or fishing on Arundell Arms beats
Lunch back at the hotel (optional)  or packed lunches will be available
2.30pm – Fishing independently on Arundell Arms beats
7.30pm – Pre-dinner drinks and canapes served in the lounge
8.00pm – 5-course taster menu served in the main restaurant

Sunday 2nd September
9.00am – Breakfast
10.30am - Fishing independently on Arundell Arms beats
Traditional Sunday lunch served at the hotel (optional)
