FISHING COURSES - BEGINNERS’ RIVER/LAKE TROUT FLY FISHING
Beginners' River and Lake Trout Fly Fishing
A four-day residential course for beginners of all ages.
Our most popular course. Complete beginners, handling a fly rod for the first time, can come on one of these courses and be led gradually, stage by stage, to the point where after four days they will be able to fish for river and lake trout reasonably well by themselves. He or she will be taught the basic casts, how to tie knots, how to choose and assemble tackle, the flies to use, wet fly, dry fly, nymph fishing-and something about the most important part of fishing - rivercraft and water knowledge.
