Newcomer to the Arundell and fly fishing, Sally Moore, was thrilled if not a little shocked to catch her first fish on Tinhay Lake on Sunday. Her surprise was all the greater when she realised how big it was - a 5lb, 14oz rainbow. The Leviathan came to the net and was admired by all of her party.
This was her first ever go at fly fishing and it is was to our instructors credit that she this fish within hours of starting to learn to cast a fly.
Well done Sally and it reinforces our message that the ladies tend to learn fishing quicker than the chaps!
